Today l received this photo of a large Threadfin caught by James Mitchell in the Northern Territory , Australia.

These are a great hard fighting fish.

Lure is an 'SL' 150S 3H shallow , in colour GNS.

Special day...

Darwin fisherman Stephen Lew landed this great 106cm Barramundi on October 19 , 2013.

Caught in shallow water around Darwin , Northern territory , Australia.

Caught on a 'Pili' 125S 3H in colour OGN.

Barramundi lure production.

Today I painted lures for barramundi.  You can see 'Mugil' 120mm at lower right of photo. This is the same lure shown in previous post showing lures cutting and shaping.

Some lures 'natural' , some striped , some spotted and some 'bleeders'.

Below are 'Pili's 125mm [centre and left of photo] , and 'Slim' 110mm.

All will be 3 treble rigged.

Tomorrow the lures will have the first of 3 clear coats , then several days of drying.
