Barramundi lure production.

Today I painted lures for barramundi.  You can see 'Mugil' 120mm at lower right of photo. This is the same lure shown in previous post showing lures cutting and shaping.

Some lures 'natural' , some striped , some spotted and some 'bleeders'.

Below are 'Pili's 125mm [centre and left of photo] , and 'Slim' 110mm.
All will be 3 treble rigged.

Tomorrow the lures will have the first of 3 clear coats , then several days of drying.

In the workshop today.

This is my work table. Very much in need of a clean up , but l have no time for cleaning....

Today I have been making more lures for Barramundi.  'SL' 125mm shallow [top] , and 'Mugil' 100mm shallow.
Lures are traced onto prepared timber , slots for 'bib' ['lip'] placement are cut first....

After cutting out , lures are sanded 'to the line' , and holes are drilled for wire placement later in assembly.

Lures are then shaped on a sander , and put aside for further sanding. In this photo you can see 'Mugil' 120 shallows already shaped. [lower right of photo].
